Chair: Bin Tan, Jinggangshan University, China
Co-chair: Jun Liu, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China
Advisor: Shiwen Mao,Auburn University,USA
IG Scope:
Intelligent Video Coding and Transmission are key tasks in the multimedia field, aiming at recovering degraded image/video content or filling missing information. Thanks to the flourish of learning-based methods especially deep learning, recent years have witnessed an increased interest from the vision, graphics, and signal processing communities in these fundamental topics of research. Intelligent Video Coding and Transmission play important roles in a variety of applications such as VR/AR, surveillance, electronics, remote sensing, and medical image analysis. The emergence and ubiquitous use of mobile and wearable devices offer another fertile ground for additional applications and faster methods. The IVCTIG aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss the new trends and advances in those areas. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Media Representation and Algorithms
- Audio, Image, Video Processing, Coding and Compression
- Multimedia Databases, Content Delivery and Transport
- Wireless and Mobile Multimedia Networking
- Multi-Camera and Multi-View Systems
- Virtual Reality and Virtual Environment
- Real-Time and Interactive Multimedia Applications
- Mobile Multimedia Applications
